The ILM Leadership and Management programmes aim to develop the ability of the learner to research and focus upon contemporary management problems and opportunities.
The programme draws on key aspects of management, specifically human resource management, organisational behaviour, marketing, enterprise, strategic and financial management, combining theory with practical experience and application.
The qualifications are made up of a wide range of units covering core management skills such as understanding how to organise and delegate, skills in communication, team leadership, change, innovation and managing people and relationships.
This flexibility in unit choice allows the qualification to be tailored to meet the needs of the individual employer.
